Forbes Steve Wampold Bigmouth Inc. is the brand behind some very weird products: flamingo pool floats, toilet mugs and potty pianos. Meghan Christensen: How did you start Bigmouth Inc.? And I started selling them on eBay in 2001. I started selling products on eBay. Christensen: How has the company evolved over the past few years? Christensen: What is your advertising strategy? We focus on the products and the relationships, and we don't even call it advertising. And then when I would bring them home kinda the fun, quirky stuff we were making, they'd think I was even cooler. And they just kept joking with Shaq about the Beast. It's so cool to see a product on a celebrity.
Then there’s the “The World’s Largest Wine Glass” and “Doo Doo Head Mask“, two of their best-sellers. Their quirky products have captured the attention of A-List celebrities, who’ve instagrammed themselves on pool floats or drinking out of weird mugs, which in turn, boost sales.
Steve Wampold is the founder of Bigmouth Inc., and invited our video crew to his home in Connecticut to learn more about this quirky brand.

Meghan Christensen: How did you start Bigmouth Inc.?
Steve Wampold: Believe it or not I’m an accountant. And I was really bored and I played a joke on an engineer. I put a funny, bumper sticker on his car. And I started selling them on eBay in 2001.
The only thing I really knew was accounting and computers, but I had a great idea for a funny product. The internet was out. You know, this was before Google. This was before YouTube. And, you know, it was just all about starting something new and trying…
