A country musician named Granger Smith opened for Garth Brooks Thursday night in Indianapolis. He has an alter ego named Earl Dibbles Jr. on Twitter, and Dibbles Jr. has 454,000 Twitter followers. It's not really a secret; the link in Dibbles Jr.'s Twitter biography goes to Granger Smith's tour website, and the two clearly look the same. clothing line, Yee Yee Apparel. Now, keep in mind that they're the same person, but some of Granger's/Dibbles Jr.'s songs actually are released under Dibbles Jr.'s name. Granger, or Dibbles Jr. — whoever this person is — must have put on quite a show at Bankers Life Fieldhouse before Brooks took the stage. He even played a tribute to Tom Petty, who died earlier this week in Los Angeles. Thursday is the first of FIVE Garth Brooks shows happening in a four-day span. You can still get tickets to the remaining shows, but they'll cost you a pretty penny.
