Triton Super High Roller Series Comes to Montenegro

Triton Super High Roller Series Comes to Montenegro. The first Triton Super High Roller featured as part of 2016's WPT Manilla at the Solaire Resort & Casino, Paranaque City, with Fedor Holz starting off his phenomenal 2016 winning the $200,000 (US) buy-in event for $3,643,500. The second Triton Super High Roller also took place at the Solaire in November 2016, with Wai Kin Yong, high stakes player and son of wealthy Malaysian businessman (and the founder of Triton Poker), Richard Yong winning the HKD $500k ($65k US) Main Event for just over $2m US. The HKD $200k ($25k US) side-event in the November 2016 series was won by Daniel "jungleman12" Cates for $359k (US). 2017's first Triton SHR Series in February once again took place at the Solaire in Paranque City, and it was another young German, Koray Aldemir, who won the HKD $1,000,000 ($128k US) Main Event for $1.3m after chopping three ways. For the first time this July the TSHRS moves out of Asia and is coming to the Maestral Resort & Casino on the shores of the Adriatic Sea in Montenegro in Southeastern Europe. Both events offer unlimited rebuys until the end of late registration, which for both is the first blind level of Day 2. Since its inception in January 2016 the Triton Super High Roller Series of tournaments has attracted some of the world’s biggest names, as well as dishing out some of the poker world’s biggest prizes. Now into it’s 4h outing, the latest Tritton SHR Series starts this Sunday 16th July through to Thursday 20th July in Montenegro.

The first Triton Super High Roller featured as part of 2016’s WPT Manilla at the Solaire Resort & Casino, Paranaque City, with Fedor Holz starting off his phenomenal 2016 winning the $200,000 (US) buy-in event for $3,643,500. The inaugural event is also the last time Phil Ivey recorded a live tournament cash, coming in 5th for $650,000.
