New Hanover County Schools will host a Twitter chat on February 2, 2017 at 7 p.m. (Source: WECT) New Hanover County Schools will hold another Twitter chat after a successful one Thursday. Superintendent Tim Markley and members of the New Hanover County Schools Senior Leadership Team hosted the chat. Parents, employees and community members posted their questions about the 2014 bond progress, enrollment and calendars for the 2017-18 school year and the new CTE high school. “We continue to seek out new ways to connect with parents and the community,” Dr. Markley said in a news release. “The #NHCSParentChat is another resource to share information about the district and receive feedback from our stakeholders.” Thirty-two people participated in the initial chat. The next #NHCSParentChat will be February, 2, 2017 at 7 p.m. Anyone with a Twitter account can participate. All rights reserved.
